Originally founded during the COVID pandemic in 2020, Nishi Productions, LLC was built to stand as a vessel for copyright and publishing to protect indigenous artists and help elevate native voices in and around Northern Michigan. Today the Nishi brand represents all that it was meant to, an Ojibwe term defined as "to kill; for use." In the old ways, never wasting what the Earth provided when hunting or fishing. Offering, then giving back.
